10 Best AI Tools For Marketing: Boost Your Campaigns in 2024

Some of the biggest brands, like Google, IBM, and Airbnb, are using AI marketing tools to gain a competitive edge. AI has taken not only marketing by storm but the tech industry in general.

While AI today is simply complex machine learning, the future of AI marketing software is bright. I’ve been constantly testing and using different AI tools in my marketing stack for the past three years, and every once in a while, I update this article with any new tools I find myself using often. So, let’s go over some of my favorite tools and how I think AI can be applied to different areas of your marketing stack.

Key Takeaways

  • Whether it’s content creation (Jasper), SEO optimization (Brandwell), or social media scheduling (Predis.ai), there’s an AI tool designed to address specific marketing challenges, ensuring businesses can find solutions aligned with their goals.
  • Many tools offer user-friendly interfaces and seamless integrations with existing platforms, making them accessible even for non-tech-savvy teams. Examples include Hemingway for readability improvement and Lexica Art for creating unique visuals.
  • While AI tools streamline processes and produce impressive results, human oversight remains essential for refining outputs, ensuring brand voice consistency, and maintaining authenticity in campaigns.

What is AI Used For in Marketing?

In 2024, marketing is all about data—information on your competitors, industry trends, and what your customers (and future buyers) think about your product. There is a lot of information available, but it is difficult to gather manually. AI makes this process considerably easier. It accomplishes tasks that would be difficult to complete by hand in a timely and efficient manner.

However, sentiment analysis can be used to combine positive and negative product reviews. Competitor intelligence may keep you up to date on what rival brands are doing. Improved targeting can help you increase the ROI of your marketing campaigns. There are also AI-powered systems that can produce creative text to assist you keep up with the internet’s constant demand for content (SEO optimization).

You’ll likely use more than one AI-powered software solution. Most data manipulation tools now use the power of machine learning and automation to achieve impressive results at scale. In this rundown of some of the best AI-driven apps and platforms, I’ll explain exactly what each one does and its benefits.

What is an AI Marketing Tool?

An AI marketing tool is software that makes use of artificial intelligence technologies including machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), semantic search, and sentiment analysis to improve the execution of marketing tasks and workflows.

Artificial intelligence marketing tools are highly complex. To put it simply, they gather data and inputs from humans and use them to deliver insight or action in response to your request. There are numerous AI applications in marketing, but social media marketing benefits the most from automation, which significantly reduces workload.

How to Choose The Right AI Marketing Tool

Picking the right AI tool can feel overwhelming, especially with so many options. Here’s my approach:

#1. Define Your Goals

Are you trying to improve content creation, boost SEO, or streamline customer service? Knowing what you need helps narrow down your options. During a content-heavy quarter, I prioritized Jasper AI for writing assistance, and it was a lifesaver!

#2. Evaluate Compatibility

Can the tool integrate with your existing platforms, like CRM or email marketing software? Seamless integration saves time and avoids headaches.

#3. Consider Usability

Some tools come with steep learning curves. If your team isn’t tech-savvy, opt for intuitive solutions.

#4. Check ROI Potential

AI tools are an investment. Look for options that offer measurable returns—like increased conversions or time saved.

Examples Of 10 Best AI Tools For Marketing

Artificial intelligence (AI) has completely transformed the way we operate. AI marketing technologies are altering the industry now and into the future. From reporting and analytics to content development and customer service, businesses are investing in AI marketing technologies to maximize their efforts. In today’s competitive marketplace, marketing is more than just being creative; it is also about taking advantage of cutting-edge technology. I used to spend hours sifting through spreadsheets, attempting to decipher client behavior or forecast campaign results. It was exhausting.

Often, my efforts didn’t quite hit the mark. That all changed when I started using AI tools. In the following section, I’ll share the 10 best AI tools for marketing in 2024 that can make your campaigns smarter, faster, and more effective.

#1. Jasper.ai

Price: Plans start at $40 per month.

Best for: Content creation and ideation

The creators of Jasper, the most well-known of the AI-powered copywriting systems, quickly fell victim to their own success. Marvel issued a cease-and-desist letter after securing more than 350,000 users. Their AI was previously known as Jarvis, which was inspired by Tony Stark’s (AKA Iron Man’s) virtual assistant. Jasper was reborn.

Jasper, this human writer must reluctantly admit, is incredibly adept at writing content in a variety of tones and styles on any topic you can throw at it. Its inventors claim that it has “read” 10% of the internet. How well does Jasper function? Using the free version, I requested Jasper to write 40 words about AI in business automation. It came up with this:

This is a good start, but you’ll still need human intervention to make sense of the copy’s flow, and there is some repetition. Jasper’s natural language processing is arguably best viewed as a tool for producing early manuscripts that can be polished later by human copywriters. Jasper can compose email campaigns, e-commerce product descriptions, blog entries, and landing page copy.

It has a simple and clear dashboard, is inexpensive to implement, and will undoubtedly accelerate the content development process. Jasper, which has over 5,000 5-star product evaluations, will not transform you into Tolstoy, but it will maintain those important SEO page scores high.

I once used Jasper to generate a week’s worth of social media posts in under two hours. The engagement metrics? Through the roof! I love that Jasper.ai takes over the boring task of reviewing writing for tone and intention. It does take practice to insert prompts that get the result you’re looking for, but Jasper.ai is an excellent tool for conquering the blank page. Remember: As with so many of the other AI content tools on the market, Jasper is based on GPT-3. Its ability to write naturally will only improve with time.

#2. Lexica Art

Lexica Art is a high-quality AI image generator that is among the best I have seen. It produces some of the most realistic AI graphics, and you can make marketing content for nearly anything. I’ve used this AI-powered application to generate blog thumbnail photos for my SEO (search engine optimization) clients.

You can utilize and save different prompts to ensure that all of the photos it generates are “on brand” with your brand rules. Some firms even use it in their social media posts. If you’re looking to move away from standard stock images for your blog thumbnails, this is a tool you need to check out.

#3. Predis.ai

Price: Plans start at $29 per month.

Best for Social media content generation

AI generates a variety of social media material. Predis.ai allows users to provide a short amount of text and receive a fully branded social media post, including the creative, caption, and hashtags. I like how Predis.ai uses AI to create branded posts, carousels, reels, movies, and memes in seconds.

Users can publish or schedule material to their preferred social media networks using the built-in integration and content planner. I believe this AI solution is most suited for business owners, social media managers, and agencies looking to save time when creating content.

Predis.ai is my top choice due to its ease of use and ability to generate a wide range of material for a social media AI tool. I love it because it can reduce the time required to make content by half. Built-in AI chat feature helps to generate text. Users can set posting targets and stay consistent on social media.

#4. Zapier

Pricing: Free plans are available. Paid plans start at $19 a month.

Best for: Text parsing

What it does: Connect your apps to automated workflows, saving your team time so you can focus on growth. If ChatGPT & co. aren’t getting the job done, you can create your custom chatbot for your business using Zapier’s AI chatbot builder. It allows you to combine your data with OpenAI’s models to build automated conversational bots that match your brand and work however you want them to.  Zapier is the Lego of tech stack and process integration.

Using it you can build connections and marketing automation between thousands of different systems, saving time, promoting efficiency, reducing repetitive tasks, and making cost savings. You build customized workflows to link actions in one system to automated processes in one or more others. The salient data is pulled from the right place each time.

These automations can be written without coding, and there are templates to speed things up. Zapier calls its automation zaps, and it features over 3,000 integrations at time of writing. You can even create branching workflows, dependent on the logical criteria you set.

The AI is working behind the scenes, reading signals and initiating procedures with speed and efficiency that no human team could match. Clients remark about the time savings that these zaps provide. There’s also terrific support, including a blog, webinars, an online no-code community, and Zapier University for training.

The bots you build can be used both inside and outside. For example, your chatbot can create press releases, edit content in your brand’s voice, and respond to website users’ questions. Start with a template or create your bot from scratch with no code.

I love how Zapier can convert text-based input (emails, Slack conversations, tweets, or forms) into data and answer simple queries. Whether hand raisers from a “Contact Us” form or lead routing, Zapier can drastically cut down on manual work.

#5. Brandwell

Brandwell (previously Content at Scale) is a platform I’ve been working with for the past several months, and I must say that I’m rather impressed. This is one of the few AI-friendly writing tools I’ve tried. When I construct an article using this tool and run it through an AI detector, it usually turns out to be at least 70% human-written, which is extremely good.

The platform is still very young, and the user interface can be a little buggy. However, the stuff it generates is among the best I’ve seen for AI content development. It is not as flexible like Surfer is in terms of being able to label H2 and H3 headings in your articles, but the actual content it generates is a bit more higher quality than that of Surfer and even Jasper. I recommend playing around with this tool if you’re looking to generate SEO blog posts. Of course, you always want a real human to review the final draft.

#6. Hemingway App

Even if you choose to use human writers to develop your text, AI can assist in editing it for optimum readability and clarity. Hemingway, named after a writer known for his sparse use of words, emphasizes “poor” style elements such as overlong sentences, passive voice, and excessive adverb use.

Hemingway also assigns a readability score based on US educational grades. Grade 9 or lower is seen to be the most effective way to reach the broadest audience. It’s quite simple to use—just copy and paste your content into the online app and press return.

Best of all, it’s free! Ben and Adam Long designed the software to emulate their favorite writer. Although there is a $20 edition that includes PDF exporting offline use and instant publish features, the free version is still immensely useful.

That said, a perfectly optimized Hemingway piece might feel too simplistic for some purposes, such as annual reports, white papers, opinion pieces, and other types of writing where personal style carries more weight than raw readability.

#7. Grammarly

Grammarly, like Hemingway, will examine your content to see how it could be better. Unlike Hemingway, it makes fewer assumptions about style and instead emphasizes on traditional syntax and grammar principles.

Grammarly has the advantage of being compatible with a variety of programs, including Gmail, Word, Twitter, and Facebook. Its AI will flag faults and provide corrections, which you can choose to accept or ignore. Grammarly can detect superfluous words, stylistic flaws, and suggest alternate word choices in addition to grammar and punctuation.

It functions by identifying and color-coding mistakes or potential improvements (similar to Hemingway) and has been featured in such august publications as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and Forbes.

#8.  Reply.io’s AI

Creating consistent email responses is another marketing task that can rapidly become repetitive and time-consuming. Reply.io’s AI Sales Email Assistant seeks to alleviate much of that tedium. However, it also has many different use cases, portraying itself as a “sales engagement platform.”

While the conversion rate for email marketing efforts may be as low as 1.22%, scaling up can result in a large number of promising prospects. To get the most of this strategy, which is completely automated, you’ll need an AI-powered email marketing solution like Reply.io.

Create cold email drip campaigns across several channels, and Reply will handle the rest, using AI-powered response scoring to assist in discovering prospects with promise. There are a host of CRM integrations and predictive analytics tools to track the progress of your campaigns.

#9.  Influencity

The usage of influencers in social media marketing has grown significantly in recent years and shows no signs of slowing. Whether it’s hauls, product reviews, sponsorship, or traditional advertising, social media influencers are big business for marketers, particularly those targeting specialized or younger groups.

Influencity describes itself as the “most complete influencer marketing platform” on the market, and it is employed by major corporations such as WPP, Kellogg, and Samsung. It enables marketers to identify and connect influencers, cooperate on campaigns, and track their effectiveness.

Every major social networking channel is covered. There are plenty of stats and abilities to work at scale across multiple brands, making this a great agency solution.

#10. Brand24

Where should you start if you want to find out how your brand is being mentioned all over the internet? Brand24 collects mentions from news websites, social media, blogs, forums, videos, and other sources. It then uses sentiment analysis to determine conversation themes and the underlying sentiments of reviewers and users.

You can react swiftly to criticism and resolve customer support concerns, increasing customer retention and possibly detecting product and service defects before they become crises. Brand24 will identify problematic references and fantastic ratings, sifting out irrelevant information far more efficiently than a Google keyword search.

There’s a terrific hashtag trend-spotting feature, as well as solid customer assistance, such as blogs and masterclasses to help you improve your marketing strategy and customer service skills.

The Benefits of Using AI Tools in Marketing

I’ve covered a wide range of AI marketing solutions that can meet all of your marketing objectives, whether it’s establishing an email marketing campaign from scratch or converting blog content into social postings. Currently, over 80% of marketers globally employ AI tools in their marketing efforts.

Some argue that AI kills creativity. Others believe it complements it. Both schools of thinking have some legitimacy behind them. However, the advantages that AI automation solutions provide for sales and marketing organizations cannot be overlooked.

#1. Content Creation

AI writing tools allow you to write content, copy, blog articles, social media posts, and emails in seconds, providing marketers with a starting point and reducing the mental strain of the creative process. It wouldn’t be too farfetched to suggest that artificial intelligence is transforming content creation in ways never seen before. It provides content marketers with what they most need: time to ponder and generate new ideas while continuing to produce content. Tools such as ChatGPT and Jasper AI allow them to eliminate mundane writing jobs and focus more on strategy and execution.

#2. Personalization

Personalization is at the heart of AI marketing technologies. The end goal of marketing automation is to deliver highly personalized experiences to each customer at every touch point, enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing engagement, and driving more revenue. Since AI algorithms can analyze thousands of customer data points in minutes, they can understand customer preferences like no other. Take, for example, AI-powered marketing tools that can create content tailored to specific buyer personas by leveraging their content preferences and online activity data.

#3. Predictive Analytics

Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms are well-known for their predictive analytics capabilities. AI marketing algorithms use past data and user activity patterns to estimate consumer behavior, marketing trends, and industry developments. You may predict client actions and reactions in advance and adjust your marketing approach and budget accordingly.

AI’s predictive powers also provide competitive intelligence. It enables marketers to remain ahead of the competition by identifying opportunities and hazards before they arise, resulting in campaigns with a competitive advantage.

#4. Decision-Making

Artificial intelligence tools provide real-time insights and practical marketing recommendations, allowing you to make informed, data-driven decisions. It doesn’t matter if you’re optimizing PPC keywords or spotting PR outreach chances; it eliminates the guesswork by providing reliable data, allowing you to make better decisions and detecting flaws that others might overlook.

#5. Data and Sentiment Analysis

The ability of AI to process large amounts of data quickly is maybe its most valuable feature. Artificial intelligence-powered analytics solutions may scan internet data to monitor brand recognition, identify social media trends, and analyze audience attitude. All of this is done in real-time and allows marketers to learn how customers feel about their brand on various social media platforms, forums, and review sites. Brands can use this data to keep up with changing market dynamics and resolve issues before they escalate into PR disasters.

What is the best AI tool for Instagram marketing?

Musho AI. To supercharge your Instagram content quickly, Musho is an ideal option. Just like generating gorgeous landing page designs, Musho, with the help of Lummi AI stock images, turns prompts into stunning visuals and copy that’s ready for your socials

Does Google use AI for marketing?

Yes, Google uses AI for marketing in several ways, including:

  • Ad creation: AI helps Google create relevant ads for consumers by setting bids and reaching the right searches.
  • Ad performance: AI helps advertisers increase ad performance. For example, advertisers who improve their responsive search ads’ Ad Strength can see 12% more conversions on average.
  • Creative: AI helps advertisers create inspiring creative.
  • Ad fraud protection: AI helps protect people from ad fraud.
  • Business growth: AI helps businesses grow by finding new customers and unlocking performance opportunities.
  • Search: Google has announced AI-powered advertising tools in search, including Gemini-powered AI Overviews.

Conclusion

Artificial intelligence tools are no longer optional; they are required to remain competitive. These technologies can alter your marketing efforts, whether you’re a solo entrepreneur, an agency, or part of a larger team.

Given the numerous advantages that AI algorithms may offer—scalability, reach, efficiency, cost savings, decision-making, analytic capacity, improved customer experience, and more—it is evident that we are only at the beginning of this AI technological revolution. Marketers now have more interesting tools at their disposal than ever before, enabling even the smallest startup to compete for global success alongside the most established brands. Many of the above tools have freemium versions available, so be open-minded, give them a try, and they may become your best friend for future marketing efforts.
